COVID-19 Safety Update

The health and safety of Floridians on production sets is a top priority of Film Florida. To that end, below are suggestions to help ensure clean and healthy sets. We encourage individuals to take personal responsibility and take an active role in maintaining a clean and healthy set.

CATERING SPECIFIC GUIDELINES:

  • Hand washing stations should be present.

  • Consider staggering lunch to ensure social distancing.

  • Eliminate self-serve.

  • Utensils should be individually wrapped in plastic (or similar).

  • Seating should adhere to 6-foot rule. Order more tables or encourage crew to eat in their own vehicles.

  • Always serve boxed meals in individual to go containers.

Food delivery procedures have been updated to accommodate current social distancing guidelines, including full no-contact deliveries, individually boxed meals, and proper social distancing to ensure your safety. At Cook’n Catering our priority is the health and safety of all of our community. We know you have questions and we want to personally assure you that we are monitoring the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) closely.

As part of our commitment to you, our clients, we are committed to the health and welfare of our kitchen and delivery teams. We have established procedures that require kitchen or delivery team members to stay home if diagnosed with or exposed to COVID-19 and forced to self-quarantine.

In response to this rapidly changing public health challenge, we have strengthened our procedures for maintaining the safety and security of Cook’n Catering menu items, from our kitchen to your venue. Our kitchen staff is working under enhanced sanitation measures that include increased hand-washing and appropriate social distancing at all times, and our delivery team has been provided with disposable gloves and hand sanitizer.  Food delivery procedures have been updated to accommodate current social distancing guidelines, including full no-contact deliveries upon request, to ensure your safety.

Join us in practicing effective COVID-19 prevention measures at home, at work and in the South Florida community. Wash your hands, with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, often. Cough and sneeze into your elbow or into a tissue that’s immediately disposed of in a trash receptacle. If you feel sick, especially with a fever or dry cough, stay home. Practice effective social distancing by avoiding crowds of ten or more people to help stop the COVID-19 virus outbreak.  We are deeply grateful for your on-going support as we work hard to provide you with safe, nutritious and delicious meals. We are committed to keeping you informed as we revisit and revise our protocols in light of the frequent changing federal, state and local instructions, and we look forward to continuing to serve our clients throughout South Florida for many years to come.
